After the terror attacks of 9/11, the United States launched an invasion of Afghanistan to topple the Taliban regime -- and our longest war began. In the Shadow of the Valley tells the stories of the Soldiers who fought there -- why they joined to serve, what they experienced in war, and how they made it home.
In the Shadow of the Valley is a visceral tale-- and one demanding to be told to today’s American audience. It is the story of the fighting man in the U.S. War in Afghanistan-- the longest conflict in our nation’s history.
The Spartan Film Company-- a Veteran owned/operated indie film company -- is proud to embrace a mission of telling the story of the men who fought in the valley -- through the shadows -- and made it home.
